Pradeep Bhatt takes over as Head of Packaging at Perfetti Van Melle India

Pradeep Bhatt has been appointed as the new Head of Packaging at Perfetti Van Melle India. He will oversee the company’s packaging strategies, emphasizing innovation and sustainability. Bhatt brings over 15 years of experience in packaging development, engineering, and the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector.

Bhatt joins Perfetti Van Melle from Procter & Gamble (P&G), where he spent seven years. His most recent role was Senior Manager, Engineering, Packaging & Packaging, focusing on materials and process development for P&G’s consumer health portfolio in India. He also led engineering-driven savings programs during his tenure.

At P&G, Bhatt previously managed technical packaging for the company’s feminine care business. His responsibilities included consumer research, creating a sustainability roadmap, and establishing a packaging laboratory at a manufacturing site. Before P&G, he worked at British American Tobacco in Malaysia for over four years, handling packaging development and new product introductions across Asia-Pacific markets.

Earlier in his career, Bhatt held packaging development roles at ITC, where he worked on personal care products, packaging trials, and cost-saving initiatives.
