Presentations.AI Expands Presentation Refresh Agent for Automated Business Presentations

Presentations.AI, backed by Accel Partners and Together Fund, has expanded its Presentation Refresh Agent, a feature that connects recurring business presentations to live data sources and regenerates them on a schedule. This capability moves the platform beyond one-time AI deck generation into presentation automation for various business needs.

The company estimates that manual updating of a recurring deck can cost a 100-person organization around $144,000 per year in labor time, calculated at $100 an hour. Presentations.AI's system scans uploaded decks, tags live data sections, and links them to relevant sources. The platform supports over 50 connectors spanning BI tools, cloud spreadsheets, and databases.

The system allows teams to choose one of three approval modes: full automation, slide-level approval, or full review. Every comment, approval, and change is logged, and updates can be exported as side-by-side comparisons for compliance review. Presentations.AI also generates decks from prompts, outlines, PDFs, Word documents, Excel files, Google Docs, and website URLs.

The platform produces native .pptx files with editable text, shapes, layouts, and styling, as well as exports to various formats like PDF, Google Slides, PNG, JPEG, HTML, and JSON. Its Brand Sync capability applies an organization's logo, fonts, and colors to generated slides without manual configuration.
