Procter & Gamble Attracts New Investor Interest Amid Strong Earnings

AMG National Trust Bank recently acquired a new stake in Procter & Gamble Company (NYSE:PG) during the second quarter. According to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing, the bank bought approximately 48,656 shares of PG's stock valued at $7,135,000.

This is not the only recent investment in Procter & Gamble by hedge funds. Brighton Jones LLC increased its stake in PG by 51.5% during the fourth quarter and now owns 40,068 shares worth $6,717,000. Taylor Financial Group Inc. also boosted its position in PG by 10.6% and now holds 2,891 shares valued at $493,000.

Procter & Gamble's recent quarterly earnings report exceeded expectations with a profit of $1.43 per share, beating the consensus estimate of $1.41. The company's revenue for the quarter was up 1.5% year-over-year and its FY 2027 guidance is set at 6.890-7.110 EPS.
