Quantum XChange Brings Post-Quantum Cryptography to Cisco Marketplace
Quantum XChange has officially joined the Cisco Networking App Marketplace as a Cisco Technology Partner. The company’s Phio TX-EM application, a containerized post-quantum cryptography (PQC) key management solution, is now available in the Marketplace. This makes it the first FIPS-validated PQC solution listed, offering Cisco customers a way to enhance their network security without additional hardware or downtime.
Phio TX-EM is designed to run natively on Cisco SKIP-enabled devices, including the Cisco Catalyst 8000 Series and Nexus switches. It provides software-based key management, allowing organizations to protect their networks against quantum computing threats. The solution supports multi-algorithm cryptography, ensuring flexibility as standards evolve.
According to Tom Butta, Chief Commercial and Marketing Officer at Quantum XChange, the solution addresses immediate security needs. He noted that federal mandates and industry timelines are outpacing hardware refresh cycles, making Phio TX-EM a critical tool for securing networks today. The solution’s FIPS 140-3 Level 2 and FIPS 203 validation ensures compliance with stringent security standards.
Phio TX-EM offers several key features, including dynamic key generation, secure key routing, and support for large-key algorithms. It integrates seamlessly with existing Cisco infrastructure, requiring no additional hardware or performance impact. The solution is now available for purchase through the Cisco Networking App Marketplace.
