Reverie Content Signs Husband-and-Wife Directing Duo CALL ME AL
Los Angeles-based directing duo Phillip Montgomery and Alisa Allapach have joined Reverie Content's roster of exceptional directors. The husband-and-wife team, known as CALL ME AL, met on a commercial set ten years ago and solidified their partnership while working on an Instagram film during the pandemic.
The name 'CALL ME AL' originates from Alisa's father, who as a young boy in Bangkok would catch tugboats to cross the city faster. This resourcefulness is reflected in their work, which showcases their ability to adapt and serve the story.
CALL ME AL has an impressive body of work, ranging from gritty realism to composed fun. Their aim is to create honest, beautiful, and cinematic content. Phillip Montgomery's background as an opera student influenced his approach, where he learned to serve the music rather than himself.
The duo has already made a name for themselves in commercial work, including campaigns for Kia, Google, Uber, IBM, and The Home Depot. They have also directed feature documentaries, shorts, and worked on TV projects.
