Riyadh Air Expands into Pakistan with Direct Flights
Riyadh Air is set to enter Pakistan's aviation market in August 2026, marking its first foray into the country. The airline has opened reservations for direct flights between Riyadh and Islamabad, as well as between Riyadh and Lahore.
The Riyadh-Islamabad route will begin on August 14 with seven weekly flights using Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners. A few days later, on August 18, Riyadh Air will launch flights between Riyadh and Lahore, operating the route three times a week.
The new services are expected to strengthen air connectivity between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, offering travelers more direct flight options. The routes will benefit business travelers, tourists, overseas Pakistanis, and passengers traveling for religious purposes.
