Rockstar Downplays Major Florida Attractions in GTA 6
Rockstar Games has given a hint about what to expect from GTA 6's take on Florida. In an interview, senior vice president of environment art Paul MacPherson mentioned that while the game will aim to replicate the 'full Florida experience', it won't include every iconic staple of the state.
The comment suggests that major attractions like Disney World and SeaWorld might not be featured in the game, although Rockstar didn't explicitly rule out any specific locations. Instead, they emphasized the importance of selecting a diverse range of landscapes, structures, landmarks, and other features to create an immersive experience for players.
MacPherson noted that GTA 6 will include over 170 different kinds of animals, including rare and legendary breeds, which can be studied by players. The game will also feature unique places to explore in-depth, such as a zoo, but it's unclear if this will replace or complement the omission of theme parks.
Rockstar spent an extensive amount of time researching the area by living it directly, even visiting strip clubs and nightclubs as part of its research. GTA 6 is set to launch on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S in the Middle East, with preorders open in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt.
