Rockstar's GTA 6 Snubs Disney World Spoof

Rockstar Games' upcoming title GTA 6 will not feature a spoof of Walt Disney World, according to comments made by Jack McPherson in an interview with Game Informer. The game is set in Vice City, a stand-in for Miami, which is about a four-hour drive from Orlando.

The news may come as a disappointment to fans who were hoping to see a satirical take on the iconic theme park. However, McPherson stressed that GTA 6 will still offer a 'full Florida experience' in numerous other ways, including its diverse landscapes and landmarks.

It's worth noting that Disney World has been left out of previous games in the series as well, including GTA 5, which was set in Los Angeles near the original Disneyland. However, GTA 5 did feature a film production company called Fred's Pictures, which was an obvious reference to Disney.

GTA 6 is set to launch on November 19 for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. While fans may be disappointed by the absence of Disney World, it's possible that the park could still be referenced in GTA 6's radio chatter or other gameplay elements.
