RTÉ Signs New Multi-Year Deal for Amgen Irish Open and Ryder Cup Highlights
RTÉ has secured a new multi-year agreement to broadcast the Amgen Irish Open golf tournament, extending its partnership with the event. The deal includes television broadcast and online rights for the 2026 edition of the tournament.
The agreement also grants RTÉ radio rights for both the Amgen Irish Open and the Ryder Cup. This is significant because the Ryder Cup will be held at Adare Manor in County Limerick in 2027, marking a historic return to Irish soil.
According to Declan McBennett, Head of Sport at RTÉ, 'Given the drama, excitement and world class field the Amgen Irish Open now attracts, we are delighted to renew our broadcast agreement and bring more great live sport to Irish audiences free-to-air.'
The Ryder Cup highlights will be broadcast on RTÉ free-to-air in 2027.
