RTX 5070 Ti Smashes Gears of War E-Day Graphics Demands
The Nvidia RTX 5070 Ti handled Gears of War E-Day's graphics demands without issue, delivering over 400 frames per second at Ultra settings with DLSS Quality and 6x frame generation.
Benchmark tests were conducted on a PC equipped with an AMD Ryzen 5 7600X processor, 2 x 16 GB DDR5 RAM at 6000MHz, and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti GPU. The game's engine did not allow for the disabling of ray tracing features.
At native resolution, the RTX 5070 Ti averaged 75 FPS with frame generation disabled, but increased to 313 FPS at 6x frame generation. With DLSS Quality enabled, it reached an average of 88 FPS without frame generation, increasing to 404 FPS at 6x.
Temperature and power draw tests showed that the CPU temperature stayed in the low-to-mid 80°C range during gameplay, while the GPU maintained a consistent thermal profile between 67°C to 70°C. The RTX 5070 Ti's power draw was also stable, operating between 235W and 250W.
