Russia Targets Coca-Cola Factory in 'Signal to America' Amid Ongoing Ukraine Conflict
Russia's ongoing war in Ukraine has taken another turn, as Volodymyr Zelensky revealed that a Coca-Cola factory near Kyiv was struck by Russian Shahed drones. The Ukrainian president described this attack as a 'clear signal to America', implying that Russia is targeting facilities belonging to major US companies.
Zelensky confirmed in his nightly address that the facility, operated by the soft drinks giant, was hit with Shahed drones in Brovary, a city less than 30 kilometers east of the capital. Andy Hunder, president of the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine, stated that no staff were injured in the strike and that the company is working with authorities to assess the situation.
The attack on the Coca-Cola factory comes as a US negotiating team prepares to visit both Kyiv and Moscow in an attempt to bring an end to the four-and-half-year-old war. Donald Trump, in an interview with GB News, expressed his desire to see the conflict come to an end, saying 'I think we'll get it.'
