S&P 500 Rallies on Lower Oil Prices and Inflation Data
The S&P 500 rose 0.8% on Thursday as lower oil prices and fresh inflation data supported sentiment.
The Nasdaq Composite gained 1%, led by gains in Meta Platforms, Microsoft, and Netflix.
Crude oil prices fell 2% to $86.98 a barrel for Brent crude futures and $81.14 a barrel for WTI crude futures due to weaker oil demand amid the ongoing US-Iran war.
