SAIL Barred from F&O Positions as Indian Market Sees Multiple Developments
The Indian stock market witnessed several developments on August 24, 2026. Steel Authority of India (SAIL) was barred from fresh futures and options positions due to a high level of volatility in its shares.
Lalithaa Jewellery Mart and Horizon Industrial Parks made their debut on the bourses after receiving strong subscriptions for their initial public offerings (IPOs). The IPO of Lalithaa Jewellery Mart was subscribed 62.97 times, while that of Horizon Industrial Parks was subscribed 1.52 times.
