Salesforce Acquires Listen Labs in $2 Billion AI Deal
Salesforce has made a significant move in the AI space by acquiring Sweden-founded Listen Labs for around $2 billion. The company uses language models to conduct interviews via voice, text, and video, allowing it to analyze consumer insights at scale.
Listen Labs was founded in San Francisco in 2023 by Swedish entrepreneur Alfred Wahlforss and German co-founder Florian Juengermann, who met at Harvard. The startup has already gained traction with customers like Microsoft and Google, and reached hundreds of millions of Swedish kronor in annual recurring revenue after its launch in 2025.
The acquisition is seen as a strategic move for Salesforce, which focuses on customer relationship management systems and related software. With Listen Labs' AI-driven research tools, the company can now offer more comprehensive insights to its customers.
