Salesforce investors who bought back in after the 'SaaSpocalypse' sell-off are now seeing their bets pay off.

CEO Marc Benioff called the drop a 'great buying opportunity' and executed his $25 billion share repurchase plan, which has since returned 38% on its investment.

The company's second-quarter earnings report showed solid revenue growth, driven by artificial intelligence (AI) adoption, with AI-related revenue up 210% year-over-year.

Benioff attributed the demand for Salesforce's AI and data products to their ability to integrate with businesses and collect enterprise data, which large language models can work on top of.
