Salesforce Raises FY27 Revenue Guidance After Strong Q2 Results
Salesforce (NYSE: CRM) has announced its second-quarter fiscal 2027 results, exceeding expectations across various key metrics. The company reported a current remaining performance obligation (cRPO) of $33.5 billion, up 14% year-over-year and in constant currency. Subscription and support revenue reached $10.8 billion, a 12% increase from the same period last year.
The company also raised its full-year fiscal 2027 revenue guidance to $46.1 billion to $46.4 billion, representing an 11% to 12% increase over the previous year. Salesforce's operating margin is expected to be around 20.1%, while non-GAAP operating margin remains at 34.3%. The company continues to execute its share repurchase program and has returned $364 million in dividends to shareholders.
Marc Benioff, Chair and CEO of Salesforce, stated, 'We just delivered one of our best quarters ever, outperforming across every key metric.' He highlighted the importance of AI in delivering value across various layers of the platform. The company's strong performance has led to an increase in demand for its AI and data products.
Salesforce also provided guidance on its third-quarter fiscal 2027 revenue, expecting it to range between $11.42 billion and $11.5 billion, representing an 11% to 12% increase over the same period last year. The company's cRPO growth is expected to be approximately 14% year-over-year and in constant currency.
