Salesforce Stock Holds Near Highs on Strong Q2 Performance and Dividend
Salesforce Inc.'s stock price has remained near its recent highs after a strong Q2 performance and the introduction of a quarterly dividend. The company reported double-digit revenue growth in fiscal Q2 2027, surpassing consensus estimates at $11.35 billion.
The earnings beat was driven by adjusted earnings per share jumping to $5.90, significantly above the $3.27 consensus expectation. This strong performance led to an increase in full-year fiscal 2027 adjusted EPS guidance to a range of $16.67 to $16.71, up from a prior band of $14.06 to $14.12.
The company also increased its full-year revenue outlook for fiscal 2027 to a corridor between $46.1 billion and $46.4 billion. Additionally, Salesforce introduced a quarterly cash dividend of $0.44 per share, which corresponds to an annualized payout of $1.76 and a yield of around 0.7 percent at recent share price levels.
