Salesforce Teams Up with OpenAI for Enhanced Government AI Capabilities

Salesforce has partnered with OpenAI to expand its Missionforce Government AI capabilities. The partnership aims to bring OpenAI's AI models into secure government environments, giving agencies greater control over how they develop, customize, and deploy AI.

The new Missionforce Policy Engine uses OpenAI's generative AI capabilities to transform approved policy documents into structured, deterministic rules. This engine will integrate with ChatGPT, allowing citizens to find answers to policy questions and helping government employees retrieve accurate guidance when supporting constituents.

Missionforce Operations turns manual processes into digital workflows in minutes, using specialized AI agents to orchestrate tasks, track status, and flag exceptions in real-time. These agents are trained on an organization's operational data and terminology, allowing them to reason through back-office processes and act within the customer's environment.

The partnership also includes NVIDIA models and accelerated computing, enabling customers to train, tune, and deploy mission-specific models on their own critical data. Salesforce is working with NVIDIA to bring post-trained NVIDIA models into additional Missionforce capabilities.
