Salesforce Unveils AIforce, Aims to Simplify AI Integration in CX
Salesforce's Dreamforce 2026 conference showcased its AI-driven platform, which aims to simplify the integration of artificial intelligence into customer experience (CX) workflows. The company introduced AIforce, a new interface strategy that brings CRM context and actions into various platforms, including Claude, Slack, Lightning, and custom experiences.
Liz Miller, VP and Principal Analyst at Constellation Research, noted that while Salesforce is making AI simpler to deploy, the harder question for CX leaders is whether faster deployment will lead to better customer outcomes or simply automate processes that were already broken.
Miller emphasized that organizations should focus on 'work first,' starting with the tasks themselves rather than the interfaces. She argued that different enterprise functions have unique operating realities and should draw on a consistent taxonomy, shared metadata, and trusted organizational data.
