Salesforce Unveils Expanded Headless 360 Platform for Secure AI-Powered Enterprise Capabilities
Salesforce is expanding its Headless 360 platform to make enterprise applications reusable capabilities for AI agents. This comes as organizations deploy more AI agents, but struggle with secure action across the business.
The new Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers and Data 360 capabilities enable authorized AI agents to securely discover, understand, and take action across the enterprise. Headless 360 transforms Salesforce from a collection of applications into reusable enterprise capabilities, preserving identity, permissions, metadata, workflows, governance, and business logic.
The platform has already seen impact, with Engine launching its AI support agent EVA in just 12 days, which resolves half of all customer chat interactions without human intervention. The expansion includes Headless Experience Layer, allowing developers to build rich web, mobile, embedded, and conversational experiences.
