Salesforce Unveils Trusted Enterprise AI Harness
Salesforce has introduced the Trusted Enterprise AI Harness, an architecture designed to give AI a shared understanding of customers and businesses. This harness brings together six trusted capabilities that enable AI to understand, reason, plan, take action, and operate within enterprise controls.
The six capabilities include Trusted Context, which provides a shared understanding of the customer and business; Trusted Agency, which enables agents to pursue complex business outcomes; Trusted Action, which securely connects AI to applications and tools; Trusted Governance, which governs data, metadata, policies, and processes; Trusted Security, which applies identity, permissions, and runtime security; and Trusted Models, which gives enterprises flexibility in model routing.
The Enterprise AI Harness is built on a common, composable architecture that draws from core technologies across Salesforce's Data 360, Informatica, MuleSoft, Agent Fabric, Tableau, Agentforce, Salesforce Guardian, and the Salesforce Platform. This allows existing Salesforce customers to upgrade their capabilities as new ones become available.
Rohan Kumar, President and Chief Platform and Engineering Officer at Salesforce, stated that the Agentic Enterprise will not be defined by which model a company chooses, but rather by its trusted proprietary context and ability to securely turn that context into action. The Enterprise AI Harness is designed to make this possible.
