The Pentagon has approved Salesforce's Missionforce national security platform for use in sensitive unclassified missions. This approval grants IL5 authorization, allowing the company's AI agents to autonomously execute tasks. The first major user of this technology will be Army Human Resources Command, which plans to utilize it for soldier and family support as well as everyday administrative tasks.

The platform's capabilities include automating workflows and handling routine tasks while human specialists remain responsible for sensitive decisions. This represents a significant jump for the Pentagon, moving from AI that only advised to AI that can execute tasks autonomously in military operations.
