Salesforce's Koa AI Model Faces Broader Availability Delay
Salesforce's recent introduction of Koa, its first AI model tailored to CRM reasoning and actions, has sparked interest in the market. However, investors are awaiting broader availability before seeing the stock move. According to reports, Koa is currently being piloted by select customers, with US availability expected later this year.
Salesforce claims that Koa produces three times fewer errors on CRM actions than leading alternatives on its own benchmark. However, independent validation would require accuracy in live deployments and cost per action data, which has yet to be revealed.
Agentforce ARR already exceeded $1.5 billion, up over 240% year-over-year in Q2 FY27. Despite this growth, management admits that most of the 2,000 new paying customers haven't started AI transformations yet.
The market is waiting for paid seat and consumption growth to catch the AI narrative, with CRM's stock price sitting at $243. Analysts predict a forward multiple near 15x, which could be inexpensive if Koa lifts Agentforce win rates through the Winter release.
