The San Diego Unified School District is introducing a new sign-in process for Chromebooks and Google accounts. Starting on October 13th, after 2 PM, students and staff will see a Microsoft sign-in screen when signing in to their devices.

This change is part of the district's effort to move its applications to Microsoft Single Sign-On (SSO). The new process requires users to enter their district email and follow the prompts using their current password. For students, this means using [email protected]

Those who are already signed in will not be affected, as Chromebooks remember the last user's account. However, when signing in to a new account or for the first time on a device, users will see the new Microsoft sign-in screen.
