Scheffler Storms to Eighth PGA Win of Season

Scottie Scheffler dominated the St Jude FedEx Championship to solidify his position as golf's world No. 1.

The American closed with a two-under-par 68 on Monday, finishing at 17 under to capture his 21st PGA Tour title and end a drought stretching back to January.

Scheffler had been runner-up five times and posted five other top-four showings since winning the American Express in January.

South Korean Si Woo Kim finished as runner-up at nine under, while Americans Sam Burns and Swede Alex Noren shared third place one stroke further back.
