Travel creator Shivani Bansal recently shared her experience of getting a Schengen visa in just two days without an agent. Her trip involved traveling across eight countries, and she attributes her success to three key aspects: a clear itinerary, a detailed cover letter, and convincing financial documentation.

Bansal's application was processed quickly because it made sense for the consulate. She chose Switzerland as the country through which to apply, even though her trip started in Amsterdam, since it was the longest stay on her planned itinerary.

The travel creator emphasized the importance of a well-written cover letter that explains the bigger picture behind the paperwork. Her own cover letter covered her travel plans, finances, professional background, and reasons for returning to India.

Bansal's financial documents showed a combined fund of around INR 15 lakh or more, demonstrating her ability to reasonably fund the holiday. She also highlighted that having money in a bank account is only one part of showing financial preparedness.
