Seabourn Announces Luxury Amazon Explorer Voyage for 2028
Seabourn, a luxury cruise line, has announced its newest voyage in celebration of its Ruby Jubilee and 40th anniversary. The 30-day Amazon Explorer: Rivers & Rainforests voyage will take place aboard Seabourn Quest from November 18th to December 18th, 2028.
The round-trip journey from Miami will visit 15 destinations across seven countries, including the Caribbean and the Amazon River. This unique voyage combines cruising with visits to riverside communities and an overnight stay in Manaus, Brazil.
According to Seabourn President Mark Tamis, the Amazon offers a distinctive setting for exploration. The itinerary is designed to showcase the region's rainforest environment, local communities, and cultural heritage while providing personalized service and an intimate atmosphere associated with the cruise line.
The Amazon programme will also begin an extended period of sailing for Seabourn Quest, which will operate two 10-day Caribbean holiday cruises after completing the 30-day voyage. The ship will then depart Miami on January 7th, 2029, for the 138-day Iconic Islands & Remote Horizons World Cruise.
