US Senator Sheldon Whitehouse recently disclosed that he sold a portion of his stake in JPMorgan Chase & Co. between $15,001 and $50,000 on September 4th.

This is just one part of a series of trades made by the Senator, who also sold shares in Analog Devices, Visa, NVIDIA, Lam Research, Amgen, and Lowe's Companies during the same period.

JPMorgan Chase & Co. has been performing well, with its quarterly earnings results beating expectations in July. The company reported $6.14 EPS for the quarter, exceeding analyst estimates of $5.59 by $0.55.
