Sherwin-Williams and HGTV Home Unveil Celery as Shared Color of the Year for 2027
Sherwin-Williams and HGTV Home have announced their shared Color of the Year for 2027, selecting Celery, a soft, muted green with subtle yellow undertones. This color is part of the 2027 Colormix Trend Forecast, Rewild, and aims to bring a sense of balance and calm to interior spaces.
Celery was chosen due to its ability to reflect today's priorities: wellness, balance, and connection. Homeowners and designers are increasingly seeking soothing environments that support mental health and overall well-being, and Celery is seen as a solution for this need.
'Celery is a soft, fresh yellow green with subtle warmth that brings a calming yet uplifting presence to any space,' said Ashley Banbury, color marketing manager at Sherwin-Williams. The color pairs beautifully with a curated palette of complementary hues, including White Flour, Potentially Purple, and Kirsch Red.
