Sherwin-Williams Secures Large Loan Amid Record Sales Growth
Sherwin-Williams recently secured a USD 750 million senior unsecured term loan agreement, its Luxembourg unit also obtaining EUR 100 million in financing. This move follows the repayment and termination of an existing 364-day facility on September 24, 2026.
The coatings company has seen its sales rise by 7.50 percent to USD 6.79 billion in the second quarter of 2026 compared to the same period last year. Net income reached USD 843.6 million with diluted earnings per share increasing by 14.30 percent to USD 3.43.
The company has raised its fiscal 2026 adjusted earnings guidance to USD 11.80-12.20 per share, while consolidated net sales are expected to grow at a mid to high-single-digit percentage rate. Adjusted EBITDA of USD 1.43 billion and operating cash flow of USD 1.35 billion for the quarter indicate a strong performance.
