Sideload Launcher Revamps UI for Ad-Free Google TV Experience

Sideload Launcher, an app designed to remove pesky ads and suggested content from Google TV and Android TV home screens, has received a major update. The third-party launcher has been around since at least 2016 and has not seen significant changes until now.

The latest update brings a modernized user interface (UI) that allows users to change app icon shapes and adjust column sizes for a more personalized experience. A new filtering system is also included, allowing users to sort apps by category or type (such as TV apps or phone apps).

Users can now easily access frequently used apps through 'favorites' and 'recents' categories, making it easier to navigate their app collections. The update has already gone live for all users, providing a refreshing change from the standard launcher's ad-heavy experience.
