Siemens, P&G Expand AI-Powered Quality Inspection System Globally

Siemens and Procter & Gamble (P&G) are expanding their AI-powered quality inspection system, called Visual Inspection Cockpit (VIC), across P&G's manufacturing operations worldwide. The VIC inspects products in real-time during production and provides continuous inspection coverage at full production speed.

The system is designed to adapt to variations in materials, packaging designs, or production conditions, and has helped reduce scrap rates by 10-20% depending on the product and application.

Siemens' Industrial Edge computing platform and industrial PCs powered by Nvidia GPUs are used in conjunction with P&G's deep learning models to provide full inspection accuracy for thousands of products per minute.
