Salesforce has integrated its Hyperagent capabilities into Slack, allowing teams to deploy autonomous AI agents that can perform various tasks within the chat interface. This move represents a significant integration between Salesforce's Agentforce AI platform and Slack, which it acquired for $27.7 billion in 2021.

The core of this launch is a redesigned Slackbot that has been rebuilt as a functional AI agent. The new bot can pull prospect lists, run complex reports, and update records across the CRM, all triggered by natural language commands in a Slack channel.

Agents built using Salesforce's Agent Builder tool can be deployed directly into Slack workspaces, where they inherit permissions from both platforms. This eliminates adoption friction that often kills enterprise AI projects, according to Salesforce.
