Small Business Saturday Kicks Off Campaign with £20k in Grants for Top Firms

Small Business Saturday has kicked off its annual campaign to celebrate and support the UK's 5.7 million small businesses, naming this year's Nation's Favourite Businesses as part of the initiative.

The selection includes Grounds for Good in South Wales, the UK's first botanical spirits range; Wild Cairns in Scotland, an outdoor adventure experience; Breastfeeding Boat in London, a floating community space; and Fish City in Belfast, an independent seafood restaurant.

Two eligible businesses from this list will be awarded grants of £10,000 each, funded by American Express, to support their future growth. This is part of the campaign's aim to encourage people to go out and support their local small businesses on December 5th, as well as throughout the year.
