SpaceX is reportedly looking to raise $40 billion to purchase Nvidia chips, according to a Financial Times report. The Elon Musk-led company aims to secure about $10 billion in bank loans and $30 billion in investment-grade debt to fund its chip order. Asset manager Apollo Global Management is expected to lead the financing effort and help sell the debt to a broad range of investors, with bond fund Pimco among those in talks to finance the transaction.

The Financial Times report cited people familiar with the matter, noting that the transaction is expected to close in 2027. SpaceX, Apollo, Nvidia, and Pimco did not immediately respond to requests for comment, leaving key details about the deal unverified.
