Spider-Man Coaster Testing Underway at Shanghai Disneyland

Disney Imagineers have begun testing the new Spider-Man roller coaster at Shanghai Disneyland. The attraction is part of the park's new land dedicated entirely to the web-slinger, and it will feature ride vehicles that have been installed on the completed track.

The push-pull testing process, which moves a vehicle through the attraction at just one centimeter per second, has started. This slow process is an essential step in ensuring the coaster's smooth operation before guests board it.

The new Spider-Man land will be the ninth themed area at Shanghai Disneyland and its third major expansion since opening in June 2016. It will also include features like Spider-Bots and a Worldwide Engineering Brigade (W.E.B.).
