Spirit Christmas Returns to Manchester This Year

Spirit Christmas is making its return to Manchester this year as part of their expansion plans. The retailer will open a store at 241 Buckland Street, the former location of Hobby Lobby near Home Depot. This space is currently occupied by Spirit Halloween, another seasonal retailer in the same company's portfolio.

According to the plans, the new Spirit Christmas store will transition from its current Halloween setup to Christmas items in early November. Each store carries a wide range of holiday-related products, including decorations, stocking stuffers, and apparel. The Manchester location is one of two stores currently planned for Connecticut, with the other location set to open in Milford at 1405 Boston Post Road.

Spirit Christmas operated two locations in the state last year, both in Manchester and Milford. The company has job openings available for these locations, but it's unclear if they will expand further this year.
