The Coca-Cola Co.'s STONEY ginger beer brand is undergoing a packaging makeover. The company is transitioning from its brown bottle to clear PET packaging, starting with the 2.25-liter bottle in June. This change aims to improve recyclability and make collection easier.

The new packaging features distinct labels and closure colors across all variants, making it easy for consumers to recognize the brand. STONEY says this shift will continue to deliver the same distinctive taste customers know and love.

Coca-Cola's vice president and managing director in South Africa, Mario I. Garcia, said the transition reflects the company's focus on improving packaging design and recyclability. By moving to clear bottles, they hope to support economic activity across the waste collection and recycling value chain.
