Supply Chain Veteran Yvette Marie Jones Dies at 66

Yvette Marie Jones of Gilbert, Arizona, passed away on April 19th at the age of 66. She grew up in Enfield, Connecticut as the youngest of four children and was an accomplished musician, playing French horn and mellophone with the Enfield Sabres Drum and Bugle Corps throughout her childhood.

Jones graduated from Enrico Fermi High School in 1977 and went on to have a successful career in supply chain management, working for top electronics companies including Unisys, Microsoft, Nortel Networks, TE Connectivity, Apple, and Honeywell Aerospace. She managed global procurement programs, sourcing electronic components and overseeing inventory and quality control.

Jones was known as 'born to shop' due to her extensive professional experience in procurement, spanning nearly 30 years. In addition to her career, she raised a daughter, Renee, as a single mother after her first marriage, and later met her second husband, James Jones, with whom she had a happy retirement in Gilbert, Arizona.
