Sydney Chaos: Apple Store Scene Erupts Over iPhone 18 Pro Launch

A chaotic scene unfolded outside an Apple Store in Sydney, Australia on Friday morning as customers waited to be among the first worldwide to buy the new iPhone 18 Pro.

Lachlan Collyer, a 20-year-old customer, had secured the first spot in line hours earlier. However, when the store opened at 8 a.m., another customer pushed past him and entered the store, shouting 'I'm first! I'm first!' before being escorted away by security guards.

Collyer was initially considered the first regular customer to enter the store and is therefore regarded as the first buyer of the new iPhone 18 Pro. He proudly showed off his new device after making the purchase, raving about its new chip.
