Synopsys Teams with Amazon on Chip Design and AI-Driven Engineering

Synopsys has expanded its business into application-specific optimized design areas and signed a multi-year agreement with Amazon.

This collaboration marks the first major client for Synopsys' chip IP in this new area, as Amazon will increase its use of Synopsys' technologies to support its development of general-purpose computing and artificial intelligence chips.

The partnership deepens the 15-year-long relationship between the two companies and will provide technical support across multiple areas, including chip IP, design tools, simulation and analysis, and AI-assisted engineering.
