Take-Two Interactive is taking swift action to identify and stop those responsible for leaking footage of Grand Theft Auto VI. The company has filed subpoenas against Discord and Microsoft, seeking information related to several accounts and servers that allegedly hosted the leaked content.

The leak, which surfaced on August 18, shows gameplay and other materials from the upcoming game, scheduled for release in November. Take-Two had planned an exclusive streaming deal with Netflix on August 27 to offer an extended look at GTA VI, but the leak has likely compromised that plan.

This is not the first time GTA VI has been leaked; in 2022, footage was shared by a member of the hacking group Lapsus$, which resulted in an indefinite hospital order for the hacker.
