Take-Two Interactive has issued federal subpoenas to Microsoft and Discord as part of its investigation into the GTA 6 leaker known as CYBERLEEK. The leaker, who has been sharing game footage and mechanics online, claims to have a full build of the game.

The company is seeking identifying information from both companies, including user account data, IP addresses, and device identifiers. Microsoft and Discord have until September 4 to provide the requested documents.

Shares in Take-Two plummeted after the leaks were first revealed, wiping approximately $2 billion off the company's market value. The leaker has been profiting from the leaks by including crypto links and QR codes on their videos and in public channels.
