Tangled Live-Action Adaptation Spins a New Tale

Disney's live-action adaptation of Tangled is currently in production, with director Michael Gracey (The Greatest Showman) at the helm. Teagan Croft will play Rapunzel, while Milo Manheim takes on the role of Flynn Rider. The film also stars Kathryn Hahn as Mother Gothel and Diego Luna in a mystery role. According to set photos leaked online, Rapunzel's iconic hair looks incredible, with intricate braids and flowers.

The photos also give us a glimpse into the castle and town sets from the film, shot on location in Spain. The shoot is expected to wrap up for a holiday 2027 release, although no official confirmation has been made. With a script by Jennifer Kaytin Robinson and Michael Montemayor, Tangled promises to bring the beloved animated classic to life in a new way.
