Tech Giants Apple and Google Hire for Stablecoin Expertise
Apple and Google have started hiring for senior roles focused on stablecoin-related expertise. The companies are building teams around payments and digital-asset infrastructure, but neither has announced plans to issue a stablecoin or launch a related consumer service.
The Apple Pay strategy role explicitly lists stablecoins, tokenized deposits, and blockchain as preferred qualifications. The position requires at least six years of experience in consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, strategic finance, or a similar planning function. Experience with consumer payment models, international payment systems, and financial modeling are among the main requirements.
Google's Hong Kong Web3 architect role requires at least four years of production-grade blockchain experience. The company explicitly lists stablecoin rails, tokenized deposits, RWA tokenization, and custody architectures for regulated institutions as areas of expertise.
