The Electric Mayhem Rocks Disney’s Hollywood Studios for the Holidays
The Electric Mayhem is taking over Disney’s Hollywood Studios this holiday season, transforming the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster into a festive spectacle. From November 4 through January 6, the Muppets’ wild band will perform a limited-time holiday overlay, complete with seasonal tunes and new surprises. The celebration kicks off as soon as guests step into the courtyard of G-Force Records, where festive music sets the stage for a holiday concert like no other.
Inside the attraction, Dr. Teeth, Animal, Floyd, Janice, Zoot, and Lips are in full holiday rehearsal mode, though not without some chaotic mishaps. The band’s preparations are interrupted by familiar Muppet friends, adding to the backstage antics. A new Audio-Animatronics figure of Scooter, created using motion-capture technology, will also make its debut, urging the band to get to their restless fans on time.
Guests will board the Lengthy Immediate Motion Object (L.I.M.O.), a super-powered vehicle, for an even more thrilling ride. The holiday set list includes four new tracks, featuring collaborations with Kermit the Frog, Fozzie Bear, Jennifer Hudson, and Cyndi Lauper. Songs like Holiday Road and Christmas (Baby Please Come Home) promise a high-energy mix of holiday cheer and rock ‘n’ roll attitude.
