The Home Depot and Boys & Girls Clubs Unveil New Program for Youth Trades Exploration

The Home Depot and Boys & Girls Clubs of America have partnered to launch the Skills Explorers program, aimed at expanding young people's access to hands-on skilled trades exploration.

On September 17, 2026, The Home Depot, along with its foundation, joined forces with Scouting America in Atlanta to unveil the Path to Pro Skills Explorers initiative. This collaborative effort aims to provide youth with opportunities to engage in skilled trades such as carpentry, electrical work, and plumbing.

Jenni Girtman, a representative from Boys & Girls Clubs of America, was present at the launch event. The program will allow participants to explore various skilled trades through hands-on activities and mentorship from experienced professionals.
