Tokyo Stocks Poised to Rebound on Easing Rate Concerns

New York Fed President John Williams referenced signs of slowing inflation and the August ADP employment report came in below market expectations, easing concerns over rising rates and improving investor sentiment.
Nikkei 225 futures settled at 64,735, up 385 points from the Osaka session, and the cash market is likely to open around that level.
Among individual stocks, Nvidia rose 3.2% after reports of its planned acquisition of Hugging Face, an AI development platform, while Micron Technology and other chip names were also bought, lifting the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index (SOX).
