TomTom Brings Location Intelligence to Microsoft Fabric through IQ Sharing
TomTom has expanded its collaboration with Microsoft to bring location intelligence to AI agents built on Microsoft Fabric and Foundry through IQ Sharing. This integration enables customers to use TomTom's data alongside their own in OneLake, providing a shared understanding of the real world for AI decision-making.
The partnership aims to give AI systems trusted geospatial context to make better decisions, automate workflows, and respond with confidence. TomTom's location intelligence is built on Overture and open standards, supporting interoperability with compatible open datasets.
With this integration, customers can now connect enriched data to Microsoft Foundry, enabling them to build agentic products that understand real-world context. This collaboration is a significant step towards creating more intelligent and connected AI experiences across the Microsoft ecosystem.
