Trailblazers Unite: Two Decades of Human Connection in Salesforce
The Trailblazer Community celebrated its 20th anniversary this year, marking two decades of human connection and authentic relationships. Founded in 2006 by Erica Kuhl as a small gathering of customers who showed up for each other, the community has grown into a global movement with over 300 Salesforce MVPs and millions of members.
The first Community Group meeting was held in Boston, where Steve Molis (known as SteveMo) was among the early attendees. These foundational relationships still define the community today, characterized by radical generosity, transparency, and a commitment to lifting up others.
Trailhead, launched in 2014, gave people a free path to learn Salesforce skills at their own pace, transforming learning into a shared journey where people celebrated each other's wins. The term 'Trailblazer' was coined by Sarah Franklin to recognize those who learn, build, and pay it forward.
